Kazakhstan highlights important role of Turkey in settling Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict - K.Saudabayev
OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Kazakh Secretary of State-Minister of Foreign Affairs Kanat Saudabayev has said it at a press conference following results of the bilateral negotiations with his Turkish colleague Ahmet Davutoğlu.
"We could not avoid the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh hence we as the OSCE chair country expend serious efforts on reduction of tension in so-called 'protracted conflicts' and the Turkish participation is very important in their settlement", K.Saudabayev said.
A.Davutoğlu, in his turn, informed that there were also discussed some issues of the upcoming Kabul Conference in Afghanistan.
"I consider that this year at the Eurasian continent could be named as the Year of Turkey and Kazakhstan. Two fraternal countries will continue joint activity for establishment of stability, peace in the region", A.Davutoğlu resumed.
