Moneef R. Zou'bi noted that:

  • Kazakhstan managed to achieve stable economic progress;
  • Kazakhstan is an example of unity;
  • Size of the economy doubled in 2000-2008 that was seen in increase of salaries and pensions;
  • The Kazakhstani financial system was not affected by the world crisis;
  • The country follows essential industrial policy aimed at diversifying the economy and strives to achieve food security;
  • The Astana University will have three new scientific centers;
  • Regional economic cooperation with Belarus and Russia will be extended due to the Customs Union;
  • Foreign investments from China, Russia, UAE, France, Italy and Korea were disbursed;
  • Economic plans aimed at supporting entrepreneurs are implemented. The country intends to reconsider the legal framework;
  • The country strives to create an attractive business climate with the production rate up to 13% out of the GDP and increase exports from 27% to 43%;
  • The healthcare is one of the priorities linked with sport and international sport activity held in Kazakhstan. Besides, the country attempts to create conditions for increase in population;
  • Kazakhstan has a task-oriented socio-economic plan and clear vision.

Moneef R. Zou'bi recommended:

The Address should be translated in three languages of the OIC and disseminated in all OIC member states.
