Kazakhstan grabs historic silver at World Junior Short Track Speed Skating Championships

Kazakhstan’s Alina Azhgaliyeva won the silver medal at the ISU World Junior Short Track Speed Skating Championships in Gdansk, Poland, Kazinform News Agency cites the Kazakh National Speed Skating Federation.
Alina claimed silver in the women’s 1500 m race finals giving way to Hungary’s Maja Dora Somodi.
Alina is the first Kazakhstani woman to win a short-track speed skating medal.
