Kazakhstan, Germany agreed on joint engineering centre

ASTANA. June 27. KAZINFORM Vice Premier - Minister of Industry and Trade of Kazakhstan Asset Issekeshev met with a German delegation, led by Bundestag deputy Michael Glos, Kazakh honorary consul to Bavaria Reinhold Kremmel and chairman of the world's largest construction materials producer HeidelbergCement Andreas Kern.
Special attention was paid to the development of clean technologies. The parties also agreed on setting up a joint Kazakh-German engineering centre that will be involved in energy generation (solar and wind energy, biofuel), energy efficient utilization, industrial processes, waste and water management.
