ASTANA. October 5. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Kazakhstan focuses on three components in the energy sector. They are safety, security and stability. Kazakh Premier Karim Massimov said it at the opening of the 5th 'KAZENERGY' Eurasian Forum in Astana.
The head of the Government noted that the disaster in the Gulf of Mexico threw a lot of doubts over the whole oil and gal sector. New trends on ensuring security should be developed. 'It is the issue of risk of this sector which plays an important role in short and long term prospects. Besides, it adds the responsibilities for the industrial sector. Thus it is needed to understand that no government can control over such challenges alone', K. Massimov emphasized.
The Premier noted that those three components Kazakhstan focused on were the most important ones.
