Kazakhstan experiences real rebirth of theatre ? President

ALMATY. April 10. KAZINFORM /Aigul Turysbekova/ The state will exert every effort to raise culture and art to the highest level, President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said during a meeting with creative intelligentsia of Almaty in M. Lermontov State Academic Russian Drama Theatre, Kazinform reports.
Over 50 theatres are functioning in the country at present, the President noted. ?Our country experiences real rebirth of theatres. Two new theatres in Astana and Shymkent and seven drama theatres in regions have been opened. The artists? wage has been increased twofold this year?, N. Nazarbayev highlighted.
The President proposed the directors to pay more attention to propaganda of the best human values, love to the Motherland, patriotism and friendship among youth.
According to him modern theatrical life is impossible without cooperation. The Head of the State proposed to invite famous foreign stage directors for exchange of experience and enrichment of the national culture.
