Kazakhstan & EU cooperation talks kick off in Astana
The draft Agreement provides for the expansion of cooperation areas, modernizing trade and investment and economic topics in light of the perspective of Kazakhstan's accession to the World Trade Organization and the deepening integration within the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space. During the talks, the sides will discuss the sections "Trade and investment", "Cooperation in the field of economic and sustainable development", "Other areas of cooperation" and "Financial Cooperation". Kazakhstan Government delegation from Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning includes the Minister for Economic Integration Zhanar Aytzhanova - Head of the Working Group on Trade and Investment; Vice Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Marat Kusainov - Head of the Working Group on economic and sustainable development. Agreement negotiations to be completed by the end of the current year.
