Kazakhstan electricity generation increased by 5% in 2010

ASTANA. January 12. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Kazakhstan's power production has increased in 2010 almost by five percent against 2009; Chairman of the Board of KEGOC JSC Almassadam Satkaliyev has made it public at a press conference.
"Electricity production has made up 82.3 bln kWh which is 4.9 percent more than of 2009. Consumption amounted to 83.8 bln kWh. This shows increase by 7.4 percent against 2009", A.Satkaliyev emphasized.
As the company's head said, reliability of the national electricity grids increased. Indicators of emergency outages decreased by 11 percent.
