Kazakhstan eager to study experience of Malaysia in producing national security systems

KAZINFORM - In the period from 16 to 18 December this year there has been a working visit of Kazakhstan's delegation headed by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Commissioner of EXPO 2017 Rapil Zhoshybayev to Malaysia, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan reports.

The delegation included representatives from the ministries of foreign affairs, interior affairs, finance, industry and new technologies, labor and social protection, as well as the National Security Committee.

During the visit the talks were held with the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Malaysia Dato ' Wan Jaafar, Advisor to the Prime Minister Shahrizat Abdul Jalil, director of the Council on the development of the construction industry (CIDB) Dato' Abdul Karim Dzhuddin, Director of the State Corporation for the Development of Foreign Trade (MATRADE) Dato ' Wong Lai Sam, representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, international trade and industry, as well as the administration of public-private partnership enterprises.

Malaysian side appreciated the dynamics of the political dialogue between our two countries, including the ones at the highest level, as well as highlighted the impressive socio-economic and foreign policy success, achieved by Kazakhstan's independence.

During the meeting there took place a discussion of issues of bilateral political, trade and economic cooperation, as well as the prospects for cooperation in the field of security, tourism, technology, and implementation of joint projects within the EXPO 2017.

Following the meeting, the Kazakh side expressed interest in studying the experience of Malaysia in the field and capability to use the security system in the Republic of Kazakhstan . For several years, this system has been used successfully at all checkpoints of the state border of Malaysia, as well as in one of the largest and most advanced airports in the world, in Kuala Lumpur, where the annual passenger traffic exceeds 40 million people.
