Kazakhstan demonstrates a favorable model of development

MOSCOW. September 17. KAZINFORM "Awarding Kazakhstan 51st place in the ranking of competitiveness fully meets the country's movement forward,"Doctor of History, Professor, Director of MSU Institute of Asian and African Studies Mikhail Meyer said.
"This is a big breakthrough. The changes that have occurred in recent years, have made Kazakhstan a completely different country, and provided it with new opportunities, reinforcing this particular economic and cultural potential," the Professor said.
"This ranking corresponds to the country's movement forward. Today, Kazakhstan is the only country in the region, which makes us seriously concerned about the use of the experience gained. Congratulations to the Government of Kazakhstan and all the people with this exemplary success!", M. Meyer added.
World economic rating (WEF) on September 5, this year awarded Kazakhstan 51st place in the Global Competitiveness Index. Since the last year, the republic has risen by 15 points from 72nd place.
