Kazakhstan defeats Thailand in Asian Games women's curling in China

Kazakhstan’s women's curling team beat Thailand in the round-robin session 13 match of the 2025 Winter Asian Games in Harbin, China, Kazinform News Agency reports.

Kazakhstan upset Thailand 9-1 in the women’s round robin session 13 match of the curling event at the ongoing Winter Asian Games.

The national team includes Tilsimay Alliyarova (fourth), Yekaterina Kolykhalova (third), Merey Tastemir (second), Angelina Ebauyer (lead).

Kazakhstan is to take on Hong Kong in the women's round robin session 14 match at 6:00am Astana time on February 13.

Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstan’s women's curling team had secured its third win after defeating Qatar at the 2025 Winter Asian Games in Harbin, China.
