Kazakhstan Culture Days kick off in Turkmenistan

Kazakhstan Culture Days are set to be held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, between October 7-10, Kazinform News Agency cites the Kazakh Culture and Information Ministry.

It is a great opportunity to show Kazakh cinematography, music and traditions.

The historical film directed by Akan Satatyev The Dawn of the Great Steppe (Uly Dala Tany) featuring the golden age of the Kazakh Khanate will open the Days of Kazakhstan Cinema at the Ashgabat Cinema Hall. Besides, another Kazakh film Paralympians will be screened as part of the Cinema Days.

The Kurmangazy national orchestra of folk instrument will perform at the Mukamov Palace of the State Cultural Centre of Turkmenistan.

The gala concert will be held on October 9 at 07:00 pm at the Mukamov Palace of the State Cultural Centre of Turkmenistan a spart of the closing ceremony of Kazakhstan Culture Days with the participation of culture ministers of the two nations.

The monument to great poet Abai will unveil on October 10 in Lachyn Park in Ashgabat. Representatives of diplomatic corps, Kazakh diaspora, scientists and writers are expected to attend the solemn opening ceremony.

As earlier reported, the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Kazakhstan were held in June in Astana. The event was organized by Culture and Information Ministry of Kazakhstan and Culture Ministry of Turkmenistan.

As written before, Kazakhstan Culture Days were held in Dushanbe on August 20 and 22.
