Kazakhstan - country respected in world: Portuguese Ambassador

After the ceremony the diplomats briefed the Kazakh Foreign Minister on their plans on development of mutually beneficial cooperation of their countries with Kazakhstan.

"This is a historic moment for me as well as for the bilateral relations of our countries. I will make every effort to improve our cooperation in the economy, policy, trade, culture, scientific-educational and touristic spheres and strengthen interaction between the people of our countries", Sokol Gioka said.

Pedro Nuno Bártolo has noted that despite the fact that Kazakhstan is a young country it is respected in Portugal. "Kazakhstan is a country respected in the world. Today Kazakhstan is on an important stage as long as the country strives to build bridges between people and civilizations. In this regard, it is if special importance for Portugal to have such friend as Kazakhstan today", the Ambassador said.
