Kazakhstan claims first medal at 2024 World Judo Juniors Championships

Kazakh judoka Talgat Orynbassar became a prize winner of the 2024 World Judo Juniors Championships held at the Kasri Tennis arena in Dushanbe(Tajikistan), Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of the National Olympic Committee.
The Kazakh athlete won over Nizami Imranov from Azerbaijan in the men's 60kg weight division and got a bronze medal.
According to the NOC, this is the first medal of the Kazakh team at the event.
