Kazakhstan claims 4 medals at ISU World Junior Short Track Speed Skating Championships

Kazakhstan’s young skaters captured four medals at the ISU World Junior Short Track Speed Skating Championships 2025 in Calgary, Canada, Kazinform News Agency cites the country’s National Olympic Committee.
After finishing fourth in the women’s 1,500m race, Kazakhstan’s Alina Azhgaliyeva fought her way to win the women’s 1,000m bronze.
Team Kazakhstan also won one silver and two bronze medals in the women’s, men’s and mixed team relay events.
Earlier it was reported that Artur Maidanov and Valeriya Stolbunova brought Kazakhstan its third medal in the first leg of the 2025 World Aquatics Artistic Swimming World Cup in Paris, France.
