Kazakhstan, China introduce e-permits for international road haulage
Kazakhstan and China’s exchange of international road haulage permits has risen from 50,000 to 230,000 in the past two years, the Road Transport and Transport Control Committee of the Kazakh Transport Ministry informed.

The countries officially launched electronic permits for international road haulage in the night of November 26 to 27.
Talks were held between the countries’ relevant ministries to exchange 40,000 e-permits, adding to a total of 230,000 international road haulage permits the countries have exchanged since the beginning of the year.
In general, the share of Kazakhstani carriers in international transport operations has grown from 31% in 2021 to 52% in 2023.
This year, Kazakhstan has exchanged 364,705 international road haulage permits with 42 countries.
To note, Kazakhstan and China introduced electronic permits for international road haulage as part of the document signed in May 2023 within the state visit of the Head of State of Kazakhstan to Xi’an, China.
