Kazakhstan ? China: activation of interparliamentarian cooperation

ASTANA. June 10. KAZINFORM Kazakh Vice Speaker of the Majilis (Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament) Zhanybek Karimzhanov has received Chinese delegation, headed by Deputy Chairman of the Legal Committee of the National People?s Congress, Deputy Head of the Kazakh-Chinese Parliamentary friendship group Zhang Boling today, Kazinform refers to the press service of the House.
The Head of the Chinese delegation complimented bilateral strategic partnership. He said that China will support the efforts of Kazakhstan in ensuring state sovereignty, security and stable socio-economic development of the republic.
The participants of the meeting spoke for activation of cooperation between two Parliaments. The Chinese Parliamentarian suggested to expand the contacts in such formats as the meeting of Heads of the Governments of the CSO member states, the Interparliamentarian Assembly, the Conference of Heads of the Parliaments of all countries. In this regard the Chinese Deputy invited his Kazakh colleagues to pay a visit to China.
The Kazakh Vice Speaker noted that China is not only one of the priorities in the foreign policy and important strategic partner, but also friendly neighbor of Kazakhstan.
