Kazakhstan, Belarus to continue working on legal framework of integration
The parties took note of a strategic importance of mutual relations between the two countries. The sides agreed that the activity of the leaders of Kazakhstan and Belarus is aimed at constant expansion and strengthening of political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian relations.
Anatoly Rubinov noted that Kazakhstan had implemented a number of important reforms, recognized today by the international community. First of all, it pertains to the Kazakhstani economy, Anatoly Rubinov said.
According to Nurlan Nigmatulin, the head of state's strategy Kazakhstan 2050 opens up bigger opportunities for the country's successful development.
Particular attention was paid to the integration. The parties praised the mutually beneficial relations within the framework of the Customs Union.
Kazakhstan and Belarus believe that the Customs Union has a great potential in the field of interregional cooperation and investment.
Nurlan Nigmatullin and Anatoly Rubinov commended the parliamentary cooperation of the two countries within the framework of the CIS IPA, EurAsEC IPA and CSTO PA.
"The parliaments of Kazakhstan and Belarus will continue to work on developing the legal framework of the integration," said the Chairperson of the Mazhilis.
Nurlan Nigmatullin and Anatoly Rubinov also stressed the need and importance of expanding the cooperation between parliamentary committees and groups.
At the end of the meeting, the Speaker of the Mazhilis expressed his confidence that the visit of the Chairman of the Council of the Republic of Belarus' National Assembly will further enhance political dialogue and understanding between the parliaments of the two countries.
