ASTANA. September 27. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan has banned the export of vegetable oil and buckwheat, the country's agriculture minister said on Monday. Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
The ban is provisional, Akylbek Kurishbayev told a government meeting.
The severe drought that affected Kazakhstan's main export countries, including Russia, this summer may cause a "raw materials deficit and an increase in food prices", Economic Development Minister Zhanar Aitzhanova said.
