Kazakhstan backs Barack Obama's initiative to strengthen dialogue with Muslim World, East and West rapprochement - President

Nursultan Nazarbayev has announced it at the ceremony on awarding the Kazakh President with the Peace and Preventive Diplomacy Prize of the EastWest Institute.

As the President's press service informs, the Kazakh President expressed gratitude to the heads of the Institute for the award. He noted that he received it as a recognition of Kazakhstan's outstanding contribution to strengthening global security, organization and holding of meetings of the leaders of world and traditional religions.

The Head of the State highly appraised his meetings with US President Barack Obama and the results of the Nuclear Security Summit.

"I want to note that the policy of the new Administration of the White House on international relations 'reload' gives positive results. This helps us in implementation of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the OSCE - the most authoritative international organization in the security sphere. Kazakhstan backs the initiative of President Barack Obama to strengthen a dialogue with the Muslim World, rapprochement of the East and the West", the Kazakh President noted.
