Kazakhstan, Austria have big potential of cooperation in advanced technology - Issekeshev
The delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev held a number of meetings with representatives of the largest Austrian companies, including Bank Austria, OMV, Kapsch. Besides, they took part in a business forum organized by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber.
"Potential of Kazakh-Austrian cooperation in the field of innovative development and modern technologies can not be overestimated. We do our best to maximally realize it and offer projects in the sphere", A. Issekeshev said during the talks with Austrian businessmen.
"Economic contacts between Austria and Kazakhstan have been significantly strengthened in recent years. Austrian business attaches much importance to further development of partnership relations and is ready to work actively in this direction", Richard Schenz, Vice-president of the Economic Chamber of Austria emphasized.
A. Issekeshev and Austrian Minister of Economy, Family, and Youth Reinhold Mitterlehner adopted a road map of partnership relations development, particularly on specific projects totaling Euro 1 billion.
At the meeting with Austrian Finance Minister Josef Proell the sides discussed the issues of opening a credit line for joint projects financing and encouragement for Austrian companies operating in Kazakhstan.
