Kazakhstan attends Meeting of ECO Regional Planning Council in Antalya
The ECO member states - Kazakhstan, Turkey, Pakistan, Iran, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan - take part in the 20th Meeting on February 16-18.
The Kazakh delegation is headed by Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran Nurbakh Rustemov. The delegation includes representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education and Sport, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Transport and Communications and Statistics Agency; the press service of the Kazakh Embassy in Iran informs.
The issues of transport and communications, trade and investments, energy, mineral resources, ecology, statistics, design and economic research, human resources and stable development; struggle against illicit trafficking in drugs, organized crime, natural disasters.
This year it is planned to hold a marketing exhibition and fourth session of the ECO ministries of industry and trade in Kazakhstan. There will be discussed the issues of development of priority sectors of industry, exchange of new technologies, introduction of the standardization and quality system.
