Kazakhstan attends Annual Meeting of EBRD Board of Governors

ASTANA. May 14. KAZINFORM Annual Meeting of the EBRD Board of Governors is being held in Croatia, Zagreb. Governor from Kazakhstan - Minister of Finance Bolat Zhamishev heads the Kazakh delegation which is taking part in it.
The issues of operating activity of the Bank, including in Central Asian region, will be considered at the meeting. The main topic of discussion is "The region after the crisis and the EBRD role"; the press service of the Ministry of Finance reports.
From 1991 the EBRD signed with Kazakhstan 100 projects with total volume of business operation at the amount of EUR 2.4 bln, B.Zhamishev notes. In 2009 there were signed 12 projects amounting to EUR 336 mln.
Within the event the Kazakh delegation will hold presentation untitled "Diversification of economy of Kazakhstan within realization of the State Program of Forced Industrial and Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2010-2014".
