Kazakhstan appreciates Turkish experience in developing industrial base - Nazarbayev

ISTANBUL. October 12. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan appreciates the experience in the industrial base development in Turkey, President Nursultan Nazarbayev stated at the Kazakh-Turkish business forum in Istanbul.
The President noted that Kazakhstan is implementing a large-scale program of industrialization of the economy with the use of high technology.
Over two years since starting the program there were implemented 450 projects totaling USD 11 billion. By 2015 Kazakhstan will implement over 500 projects worth USD 46 billion, half a million people will be employed.
"Kazakhstan appreciates the experience of the industrial base development in Turkey. There are a lot of opportunities for the implementation of joint projects in the field of metallurgy, textile, food, chemical industry, agriculture, energy, logistics," said Nursultan Nazarbayev.
