Kazakhstan annually welcomes 300,000 babies

She also stressed that Kazakhstan realizes large-scale programs to develop education, healthcare, employment, housing construction, maternity and childhood support, social protection of vulnerable social groups. All those efforts led to increase in life expectancy up to 70,4 years in 2014. "The third part of the country's population falls on children under 18. Kazakhstan annually welcomes 300,000 babies. There are programs to support young families, families with many children, construction of preschool facilities. The national priority is to support the institution of the family. We also pay great attention to enhancing traditional family values, raising the family prestige," she resumed.
