Kazakhstan and Vietnam agreed on trade turnover increase - Nazarbayev

HANOI. October 31. KAZINFORM /Ruslan Suleimenov/ Kazakhstan and Vietnam have agreed on trade turnover increase. President Nursultan Nazarbayev noted after the Kazakh-Vietnamese negotiations in Hanoi.

President Nursultan Nazarbayev thanked the Vietnamese side for hospitality. "This is my first historic visit to your country," N. Nazarbayev said.

The Kazakh President outlined dynamical growth of Vietnam's economy. "In recent years economy, industrialization rates and people's welfare increased by 3.5 times," he emphasized.

Kazakhstan considers Vietnam as an important partner in South-East Asia. "We have no outstanding questions. We are ready to cooperate in all directions," the President of Kazakhstan announced. "We have clearly defined priorities of our further cooperation," N.Nazarbayev noted.

The President emphasized that we have many similar positions, and within the visit there were created conditions for further cooperation. According to him, in the future the Kazakh Embassy will be opened in Hanoi.

N.Nazarbayev noted that a business forum which will be held in Hanoi is a good platform for development of trade-economic and investment cooperation.

The President outlined that the two countries agreed on increase of trade turnover and establishing the Business Council.
