Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan set to open joint shopping centers
A shopping center featuring Kazakhstan’s goods will open in Tashkent. Such a center may also be built in Astana to sell goods from Uzbekistan, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The Kazakh Embassy in Uzbekistan held a meeting involving Kazakhstani entrepreneurs working there. They focused on prospects for the development of joint projects to boost economic ties between the two countries.
Deputy chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Dilshod Rassulov said last year a goods distribution center was opened in Aktau. Tashkent plans to export agricultural products, including food products, through this center to Kazakhstan’s market. The center will be used for customs warehousing of Uzbekistani products to be delivered then to the neighboring countries.
As written before, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan discussed economic cooperation prospects.
