Kazakhstan and Turkey governments sign Agreement on International Kazakh-Turkish University
Kazakh Minister of Education and Science signed this document on the behalf of the Kazakh Government; the press service of the Ministry reports.
The new Agreement provides following changes: the University is defined as a facility, which has an international status. The University has a right to create branches abroad for implementation of the educational activity, which meets contemporary international requirements for skilled specialists training. The International Kazakh Turkish University named after K.A.Yassawi can have a branch in Shymkent city with clinics, which will have a right to realize educational activity within the framework of licenses given to the University.
The University's Intergovernmental Plenipotentiary Council is the highest management body.
