Kazakhstan and Spain team up in their future chairmanships at OSCE and EU

ASTANA. July 2. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ - Kazakhstan and Spain will be coordinating the activities related to their upcoming chairmanships at the OSCE and the EU, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Anjel Moratinos announced after his meeting with Kazakhstan President Nursultan.
Kazakhstan is to be the chair of the OSCE in 2010, and Spain will chair the EU this year.
«We are trying to coordinate the activity of the two chairmanships so that the EU and OSCE worked in a common direction to find the ways out of the economic crisis, and create partnership between the EU and Kazakhstan, and consider such issues as Afghanistan investing joint efforts of both the OSCE and EU», - Mr. Moratinos.
