Kazakhstan and Russia intend to jointly recover the mineral resources base

The parties agreed on the development of strategic partnership and joint participation in projects to recover the mineral resources base of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation.

This September, the heads of "Kazgeology" and "Rusburmash" met in a business meeting to consider the possibility of making an agreement on cooperation in the field of geology and mineral resources, the press service reminds.

Founded in1998, JSC "Rusburmash" now is part of the uranium holding "Atomredmedzoloto" and a largest integrated exploration companies in Russia providing advanced drilling services and performing a wide range of works by international and national standards.

As part of its plans to expand the range of services in the mining and metallurgical complex, in 2012, the Russian company opened a branch in the Republic of Kazakhstan with offices in Almaty and Astana. In early 2013, the branch finished licensing and began performing works.
