Kazakhstan and Poland eye joint forum in Karaganda region

KARAGANDA. April 16. KAZINFORM The first Kazakh-Polish forum is to be held this autumn in Karaganda region, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Poland Erik Utembayev said while visiting Karaganda region.
"We are planning to organize the first Kazakh-Polish forum in Karaganda region tentatively in September that will hopefully give a new impetus to the relations between Karaganda region and 16 regions of Poland. All logistical matters and arrangements are being discussed at the moment," Ambassador Utembayev said.
The forum is expected to promote the business ties as well as mutually profitable cooperation in various spheres between Kazakhstan and Poland. According to Mr. Utembayev, Poland can share its experience in local self-government with Kazakhstan.
