Kazakhstan and Norway fruitfully cooperate in protection and promotion of human rights

ASTANA. June 27. KAZINFORM Kazakh Human Rights Commissioner Askar Shakirov has met with Ambassador of Norway Dag Malmer Halvorsen, who is finishing his mission to Kazakhstan, in Astana, the Ombudsman's press service said.
It was noted that Kazakhstan and Norway established fruitful cooperation in the field of protection and promotion of human rights. At the beginning of 2012 the countries launched the joint project on establishing a sustainable and integrated system of child protection in Kazakhstan with participation of the Kazakh Ombudsman's Office and UNICEF.
The sides expressed readiness to continue mutually beneficial relations.
