Kazakhstan and Iraq discussed strengthening of bilateral cooperation

B. Sarsenbayev met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq Hoshyr Zebari and handed over the joint invitation of foreign ministers of Kazakhstan and Afghanistan to attend the third conference of foreign ministers of Istanbul Process, scheduled on April 26 in Almaty, Kazinform has learnt from the press service of the Kazakh Embassy in Jordan.

Besides, the Kazakh diplomat held the meeting with officials and business circles' representatives of Iraq. In particular, Sarsenbayev met with the head of the President's office Muafak Akhmad, Adviser to the Iraqi President Jalal al-Mashta, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Iraqi Parliament H. Hamoudi and the Secretary General of the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce Abdul Hussein Jaber Rashid Al Mubarak.

Perspectives of further bilateral cooperation strengthening, establishment of interparliamentarian commission for trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, and joint Business council establishment were discussed during the meetings.
