Kazakhstan and Indonesia trade turnover grew three-fold, to USD 150.5 mln. - E.Dosaev

ASTANA. August 21. KAZINFORM - Trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Indonesia in the first half of 2013 has amounted to 150.5 million dollars.

This has been announced at the opening the first session of the intergovernmental commission and economic cooperation between the two countries in Jakarta, by the Minister of Economy and Budget Planning of Kazakhstan Erbolat Dosaev, the press service of the Kazakh governmental authority informs.

Only with the first half of 2013 the trade between the two countries amounted to 150.5 million dollars, exceeding the 2012 figure almost 3 times, said E.Dosaev.

The volume of mutual trade between Kazakhstan and Indonesia in 2010 was 23 million 828 thousand dollars, in 2011 - 35.1 million dollars, and in 2012 - 57.3 million dollars.

The Intergovernmental Committee also discussed the issues in the field of pharmacy. The Indonesian side expressed interest in cooperation in this field.
