Kazakhstan and Indonesia to eye economic coop during 1st ever intergovernmental dialogue

ASTANA. August 19. KAZINFORM A session of the Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation of Kazakhstan and Indonesia is set to be held in Jakarta on August 21.

Kazakhstani delegation at the first session of the joint commission will be headed by Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev. Mr M. Hatta Rajasa, the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of Indonesia, is expected to lead the Indonesian delegation, the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning says.

The first intergovernmental dialogue will focus on the discussion of a wide spectrum of issues of bilateral commercial and economic cooperation.

Agreements are believed to be reached in the sphere of transport, industry and investments, Islamic banking, agriculture, oil and gas sector, renewable energy sources and health care.
