"Cooperation in the agricultural sphere will give new opportunities for our countries. We agreed to remove all the obstacles for activation of the export of Hungarian cattle to Kazakhstan, discussed the issues of production of seeds and technologies allowing production of corn in Kazakhstan," S. Fazekas said.

According to him, the issues of education were also discussed at the meeting. Presently, about 100 Kazakhstanis study in Hungary.

"I hope that today's meeting will be an impetus for a visit of a large delegation from Kazakhstan to an agricultural exhibition scheduled to be held in Hungary this September. Our companies are interested in investing in enterprises on processing of agricultural products and food production. Representatives of those companies are included into the delegation accompanying the Prime Minister of Hungary to Astana within his official trip," he noted.

S. Fazekas also noted that Kazakhstan and Hungary were united by historical ties because the majority of Hungarian cumans came from the territory of modern Kazakhstan. "This should help us in our cooperation," the minister added.
