Kazakhstan and Germany disputed law bodies' interaction development
The delegates met with Commissioner of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany for Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia Antje Leendertse and took part in "round table" to consider new trends and perspectives of cooperation.
During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects of enhancing cooperation in the legal field. It was noted that the visit of the Kazakh delegation was an important step in the further development of the existing productive relations, exchange of experience in the development of legal systems.
In this context, particular attention was paid to the issues of Kazakhstan's accession to the Council of Europe conventions in the field of criminal justice and the signing of bilateral agreements on legal cooperation. It was emphasized that the legislation of Kazakhstan was developing dynamically and improved to meet all international standards for the protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens. In this regard, the accession to the European Convention will fully contribute to the realization of this goal.
The delegation also visited the Berlin police, customs management and the federal state of Brandenburg State Office for Combating Organized Crime of the capital of Germany. A wide range of issues of mutual interest, including in the fight against terrorism, drug trafficking, drug trafficking and transnational organized crime was discussed during the meeting. Issues of bilateral cooperation in the customs field and the exchange of experience also became an important topic of the conversation. The sides expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation, noting that there is further potential for its development.
