Kazakhstan and Germany discussed strategic cooperation issues
More than 100 representatives of political and business circles of Kazakhstan and Germany, managers of the largest German companies, mass media participated in the meeting, chaired by Chairman of the National Economic Chamber "Atameken Union" Timur Kulibayev and Executive Director of Deutsche Bank Peter Tills.
Investment and technologic cooperation issues were discussed during the meeting.
T. Kulibayev in his welcome address stressed an importance and timelines of the meeting, the activity of which contributes to the fruitful development of relations between the two countries and called on German colleagues for implementation of joint economic breakthrough projects.
In turn, P. Tills noted Germany's interest in mutually beneficial cooperation with Kazakhstan and emphasized the availability of all prerequisites to further business partnership improvement. According to him, the most important is mutual interest of enterprisers in realization of major projects to build new facilities.
Kazakh Ambassador to Germany Nurlan Onzhanov stressed the importance of implementing the agreements reached during the February visit of the Head of State to Germany. First of all it concerns the implementation of specific Kazakh-German projects in the field of raw materials, industrial and technological partnership between Kazakhstan and Germany, development of vocational education in Kazakhstan, as well as expanding cooperation in the sphere of small and medium businesses.
