Kazakhstan and Cyprus discuss visa-free travel issues

Kazakh and Cypriot Foreign Ministers discussed the introduction of a visa-free regime and prospects for direct air service, Kazinform News Agency reports.

In Astana, the Ministers signed a memorandum On the air service between Kazakhstan and Cyprus.
Kazakh Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu believes the memorandum is expected to give a new impetus to cooperation between the two countries.
The Ministers also focused on regional and global agenda. Nurtleu said Kazakhstan and Cyprus have common positions on many pressing international issues.
