Kazakhstan and Belarus consider opportunity of joint development of potassium salt minefields - S.Sidorsky

MINSK. May 20. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakhstan and Belarus consider opportunity of joint development of the Zhilyansk and Chelkar minefields of potassium salt. Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Sidorsky has announced it at the Kazakh-Belarusian Business Forum.
According to S.Sidorsky, development of about 30 joint projects, including on creation and production of mining and agricultural equioment, production of food industry and mineral fertilizers, are under various stages.
"Development of the Zhilyansk and Chelkar minefields of potassium salt is the most appropriate among the projects proposed for implementation", S.Sidorsky said.
These projects implementation will allow to create a new sub-sector of chemical industry in Kazakhstan, the Belarusian Prime Minister thinks so.
Over 140 entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan took part in the Forum.
