Kazakhstan and Austria to hold joint business forum

Representatives of the largest Austrian companies in the spheres of engineering and metallurgy and representatives of the Kazakh state bodies, associations, national companies and business circles will take part in it.

As organizers noted, the business forum is aimed at discussion of the issues of trade-economic cooperation with Austria, technologies transfer and creation of joint productions on the territory of Kazakhstan.

The sides plan to sign a Memorandum of cooperation in the field of engineering.

According to the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan, the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Austria made up EUR 1.137 bln last year.

135 joint enterprises with participation of the Austrian capital are registered in Kazakhstan.
