Kazakhstan among top 50 well-being countries - Mami

ASTANA. January 9. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Kazakhstan is among the top 50 countries in the well-being rating. Chairman of the Kazakh Senate Kairat Mami has announced at a meting with Chen Zhili, Vice Chairwoman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress.

"Over 20 years of independence and sovereign development Kazakhstan reached impressive success in the economic development. Today the per capita GDP makes more than USD 10 thousand. We plan to bring it to USD 15 thousand by 2016," K.Mami said.
The Speaker noted that Kazakhstan is among the top three fastest growing economies in the world, ranked third in rate of growth of the economy - after Qatar and China.
