Kazakhstan ahead only Kyrgyzstan in industrial output growth among EAEU states - report
Kazakhstan surpassed only Kyrgyzstan in the pace of industrial output growth among the EAEU countries, the latest report revealed, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.
In the latest report on EAEU industrial output growth, Armenia demonstrated the highest figure of 22% in January-May this year. Coming in second in terms of industrial output growth was Belarus with growth indicator of 8%. With an industrial output growth of 5.2%, Russia was placed third.
Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan reported 3% and 2.6% industrial output growth, respectively.
In the reporting year, the EAEU member countries observed mining and quarrying to rise 0.2%, manufacturing 8.7%, supplies of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning 4.2%, water supply, sewage disposal, waste collection and disposal 4.2%, reads the report.
The report highlights growth in industrial output of all the member states of the EAEU compared to last year’s figure.
