ASTANA. May 15. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ Kazakhstan's social commitments during the crisis period will be kept, Head of the Government Karim Massimov has said taking the floor at the XII extraordinary Congress of Nur Otan People?s Democratic Party.

?Even today when we have had to revise our budget plans, the President charged to keep all social commitments to the Kazakhstanis?, the PM noted. ?In the last 9 years Kazakhstan has been demonstrating impressive economic growth and well-being of its citizens. In 2008 the GDP level increased 6.8 times per capita down from 2000 and reached nearly KZT 1 mln. In 2007 the World Bank estimated Kazakhstan as the medium-income country?, K. Massimov highlighted. According to the Prime Minister, state expenditures for education, healthcare and social security have risen 6.3 times over the last 9 years and made approximately KZT 2 trln. ?This is nearly a half of all expenditures of the state budget or 11.6% of the country?s GDP?, the PM said.
