Kazakhstan, ADB ratified agreement

ASTANA. June 18. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Senate of the Kazakh Parliament has approved the Law ?On ratification of the Loan Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Asian Development Bank.
The Agreement was signed on March, 30, 2009 in Astana for the purpose of implementation of a number of road infrastructure development projects. Also, execution of these project will intensify the auto mobile traffic along the Kazakhstani part of the international corridor and increase the growth of transit cargo, which will bring income into the public budget.
The loan amount to USD 340 mln with debt schedule 25 years. The project deadline December 31, 2013.
