«Kazakhstan-2050» Strategy straightly correlates to basic concepts and content of Human Development Index, A. Volkov.

According to the words of the Kazakh Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs A. Volkov during the regional presentation of the United Nations Development Programme global report titled «Rising of South: human progress in variable world», which took place in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

«Along with the global presentation, the regional ones are being conducted in 5 countries of the world, among which is Kazakhstan. It appears that this year the United Nations Development Programme report will greatly contribute the understanding of world development by analyzing particular facts and gained results; it will also help to identify political priorities in global governance », said A. Volkov.

He mentioned that Kazakhstan willingly accepted the suggestion of hosting the presentation of the global report for East Europe and Central Asia regions in Astana.

A. Volkov added that Strategy of Kazakhstan development till 2050, worked out by the President N. Nazarbayev, focuses on every Kazakhstani citizen life improvement and, accordingly, straightly correlates with the basic concepts and content of Human Development Index.
