Kazakhs in Egypt advised not to travel outside resort areas

ASTANA. December 28. KAZINFORM — Kazakh citizens vacationing in Egypt have been recommended not to travel outside resort areas because of continuing terrorist threats in the country, the press service of the Committee of Tourism Industry of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies (MINT) informs.
According to the ministry, on December 24 in the Egyptian town of El-Mansura, 120 km north of Cairo, near the building of the police department a vehicle bomb exploded. The blast killed 14 people, injured more than 100.
"In view of the above mentioned the Committee of Tourism Industry advised the Kazakh tourists vacationing in Egypt to be careful and avoid traveling outside resort areas including the cities and areas where remain risks of terrorist activities and increased social tensions", the press service of the Ministry reports.
