Kazakhmys Group sold Mansfelder Kupferund Messing GmbH

ASTANA. May 28. KAZINFORM - Kazakhmys Group declares about the Mansfelder Kupferund Messing GmbH (MKM) selling to a European company for 42 million euros, the press service of the company reports.
MKM is the Group’s subdivision in Germany. It produces semi-finished copper products. MKM subdivision entered Kazakhmys Group in 2004 and it was declared in 2010 as not the main business of the company.
As a result of the sale Kazakhmys will receive 42 million euros, where 12 million will be paid with a delay. MKM was sold with the debt amounting to 137 million euros. MKM paid Kazakhmys a dividend in the amount of 10 million euros in 2013.
Kazakhmys is the leading international group for extraction and processing of natural resources and the owner of significant interests in copper, gold, zinc, silver and electric power.
