Kazakhmys Gold in Tehran for energy, mining talks

ALMATY - An energy and mining delegation from Kazakhstan's biggest mining and energy group, Kazakhmys Gold, arrived in Tehran on Saturday to study the investment opportunities in Iran's copper, gold, oil, and electricity projects, Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting reported, Kazinform cites Tehran Times Economic Desk.
Iranian Commercial Attaché to Almaty Hossein Bamiri told IRIB that the Kazakh delegation is here despite all the global propaganda regarding the insecure environment for investment in Iran.
Kazakhmys Gold is affiliated to Kazakhmys PLC., a leading international natural resources group listed in the UK and Kazakhstan, with significant interests in copper, gold, zinc, silver, power generation and petroleum, Kazinform refers to Tehran Times Economic Desk.
