Kazakh Zangar Nurlanuly to face India’s Kriish Tyagi in ITF Juniors J200 final

15-year-old Kazakhstani Zangar Nurlanuly has reached the final of the ITF Juniors J200 Tournament in Fergana, Uzbekistan, Kazinform News Agency reports citing the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation.

Asia’s No 2 in U16 category, Zangar Nurlanuly (ranked 190th by ITF Juniors) defeated Russian Dmitry Bessonov (ranked 114th) with a score of 7:6, 6:4.

In the quarterfinal, he won over Hong Kong’s Chi Cheng (ranked 368th) 7:5, 6:2.

In the final round, the Kazakh tennis will face the first-seed of the tournament, Indian Kriish Tyagi (ranked 98th).

Earlier, Kazakhstan’s No 1 in U18 Amir Omarkhanov stormed into the J300 Beijing Juniors Tournament semifinal.
